This looks better then any resident evil remake
Dear game developer: take all the time needed to deliver a masterpiece and polished game for ps5 and we want to see inclusion of controller features such as haptics and adaptive triggers in combat and other situations for best immersion!

I haven’t been this excited about a game that isn’t Resident Evil in a very long time. The last Alone in the Dark game I liked was The New Nightmare in 2001 and that was basically a carbon copy of the classic Resident Evil’s. This Alone in the Dark seems to have it own identity with all the aspect we love about survival horror. As it should, it single handedly created the genre

The demo is out but it's only 15. Wth? It's also in unreal engine 5 and the only difference I can notice is you being able to rub against certian things such as the curtains and they move which is super realistic but the graphics look like unreal engine 4

I couldn't decide if this remake ver. is straightforward survival-horror, OR a mash between horror-adventure and dark-fantasy with classic detective noir puzzle-solving mystery in a 1920s setting. But still looking forward to this.

I'll try it out, but it looks wooden and the sound mix seems very "in the studio." Sounds like characters are talking into an EQ'd mic instead of conversations in a real place.

This looks great… Really small nitpick though: Everything looks too clean for a horror. All the wood in the broken atic or outside looks brand new and fresh.
Why do the monsters bother running at you slowly like that only to be dodged in the same way again and again, looks boring af.
