All these changes are in the right direction. Maybe i will buy the game. I would like to propose another change too, either for the near future or for a future civ. What about if there was a "storage" for some strategic resources that would decrease for every movement on the map? E.g : before any battleship movement i have 1000 units of oil but after a hexagon movement that would go down to 999 in real time plus the production rate at the end of the turn. (Instead of having a fix cost for every unit we make i think that would be better to have a dynamic consuption in every turn based on how we move our military. This way someone would have to plan meticulously each huge military movement…

Seriously don’t know why people hate only this game so much. I’ve loved it from day one. So nuanced and it’s frustrating playing the older games now. One thing I’d change is to allow more exchanges for ending wars other than settlements. Like maybe gold, diplomatic points, science, culture, food? Would make ending wars SO much more interesting.
