Kingdom Hearts at D23 2026 just got A LOT more exciting for Kingdom Hearts 4! The panel this Saturday will be live streamed on multiple different channels, Disney and Square Enix are promoting it hard, and the games are all on sale right now. Kingdom Hearts D23 is looking good. But what will show up? I’ll share some of my predictions and hopes for what I want to see from the panel. Kingdom Hearts news, art, trailers, and more!

My hopes are up ngl but if There's nothing i'll be disapointed 😅 but i'll take ANYTHING release date ideally but even if its just the year, a world, a teaser … Even a show i'll take just something new 😅

I’m hoping for some kind of road map. I’d like a release date for 4, but I’m most hoping to learn what might become of the X saga and whether any smaller games are in the works.

You know what thing they should also focus on for Kingdom Hearts IV besides the other thing's they came up with so far? The remaining three of the New Seven Hearts. They haven't been concentrating on that plot(Hope Nomura hasn't forgot about) The other three who I think are most likely to be are Moana, Asha(Wish) and Merida(Brave).

For missing link I want them to do what they did with 0.2 birth by sleep so we can still play the game and also make kingdom hearts x and dark road playable as well. Would be awesome to announce especially if KH4 isn’t coming out for another year or 2
I'm predicting the following:
Marvel world,2027 release window, English trailer.
Marvel reasoning:Nana Gadd will be present and her entire career is with Marvel games.
2027 release date reasoning:Previous leak from retailers, Fortnite crossover, development seems far along.
English trailer reasoning:2 main character English VAs present and Renee Johnson largely works with voice work.
What I want more than a full blown KH1 remake is a retelling in the HD-2D style of Octopath Traveler. That would be a great birthday gift for the 25th anniversary next month.
I REALLY hope they show us a custom color and design your outfit looks in KH4, just like what they did with KH Birth By Sleep 0.2
But I'm excited to see at least a new teaser world trailer of Star Wars (or just a official artwork like what they did with Big Hero 6 reveal world years ago)
And Fortnite x Kingdom Hearts collab teaser as well!

Really interested to see what's on the panel, and (though this might be a long shot) I think there could be another smaller experience releasing before KH 4, after all, MelMem isn't on Steam yet
I doubt this is going to amount to anything outside of maybe a new trailer (which would of course make the whole thing worth it) or a release date (or both).
Nomura isn't announced to be there so I don't think we'll get any insight or hints into story related stuff.
I guess there's a chance for something related to the mobile games' stories being readapted and/or made accessible (I'd be down for a movie/ non mobile game remake), but outside of those (not completely unlikely) situations I don't really see why people are all that hyped (it's likely going to just wind up being the Forkknife collab).
Though I'm completely open and hoping to be proven wrong.

when it comes to kingdom hearts, nothing is bigger than kingdom hearts 4 currently. if they dont show anything substantial for kh4, it will be an epic fail by disney

What’s the fucking obsession with Star Wars in kingdom hearts
Here's my personal hope and prediction that's not related to either KH4 or the Fortnite collab. Seeing the kingdom hearts series expand upon itself. What I mean by this that it starts is that we seeing the series do other stuff like for example do certain collabs with car games like Magic the Gathering or Lorcana. There needs to be stuff that fills in the gaps with the wait of each installment and being allowed to expand like that would help the franchise out. It doesn't even have to stop at there, you can also have smaller non cannon entries, like some fighting games. Just other ways to address the wait.
